Being Organized- Always a Win/Win Situation?

Being perfectly organized is great when you’re at a big high school with a lot of school work. When it comes to my locker, being organized works well. Morning binders on the bottom, afternoon on top, coat in the center. It just makes everything better.
But my room doesn’t always look organized, making things a lot more complicated. I don’t always know where my things are. To me, its a lot easier if all of my stuff is sprawled out across the floor. Though everything is a mess, I know where I can get any of my possessions at any given moment. Sure, it may make me look slobby at times, but I think most people my age can agree with me.
Organization is hard in itself, but it can make life even more complicated.

I wonder if this changes as we get older? I find that I have a hard time concentrating if I’m in a messy room. Maybe as you get older, you have more stuff on your mind, and therefore need less stuff in your sights?
It seems like all adults need complete organization, but us adolesence sometimes just don’t believe it matters.
